There’s a little bit of bright news for the beleaguered Chrisley family.

Todd Chrisley’s oldest son, Kyle Chrisley, 31, is no longer facing charges in Georgia for allegedly threatening the life of his ex-wife, Alexus Whilby.

The charges were reportedly only dropped because Alexus is no longer cooperating with prosecutors, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The DeKalb County DA told the outlet, “After further investigation, review of the evidence and discussion with the victim, based on all facts and circumstances our office declined to prosecute the case.”

Page Six has reached out to the DeKalb County DA but did not immediately hear back.

According to TMZ, Alexus initially told authorities that Kyle had threatened her life via a text message in January 2019.

She claimed the former reality star sent her a text, saying, “[N]ot before I end you. Im going to the streets I will get my s–t and take care of this problem with you because if I’m not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus.”

Alexus replied, asking if she should take this as a “threat to my life,” and Kyle reportedly responded, “Yes Lexi it was. Goodbye.”

Kyle, who appeared on only one season of “Chrisley Knows Best,” has struggled with mental health issues and drug addiction over the years.

Todd shares Kyle and his oldest daughter, Lindsie, 33 — who both have gone through periods of estrangement from their father — with ex-wife Teresa Terry. He also shares sons Chase, 26, and Grayson, 17, and daughter Savannah, 25, with his current wife, Julie Chrisley.

The reality stars also adopted and were raising Kyle’s daughter, Chloe, 10, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Angela Johnson.

Unfortunately, the alleged threats are not the first time that Kyle has been in trouble with the law.

In March, he was arrested for aggravated assault in Tennessee.

According to TMZ, cops claimed the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum brandished a “fixed blade” during an altercation with his supervisor at a trucking company.

But his wife, Ashleigh Chrisley, disputed this and told Page Six exclusively, “That’s not true.”

And in 2019, the dad of one was arrested in Oklahoma for alleged drug possession.

While Kyle may have avoided going to jail this time, his father and stepmother aren’t so lucky.

Earlier this year, the “Chrisley Knows Best” couple were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison for fraud and tax evasion.

Todd, 54, is serving 12 years at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie, 50, is serving the next seven years at a facility in Kentucky.

Prosecutors alleged that the pair submitted false documents to banks when applying for loans.

Additionally, Todd’s ex-business partner, Mark Braddock, claimed that the reality star cheated on Julie with him and that they paid off a blackmailer to keep the alleged gay affair under wraps.

Todd has vehemently denied Braddock’s allegations.

The family starred in the long-running reality series “Chrisley Knows Best” on the USA Network since its inception in 2014. However, after Todd and Julie were sentenced, the show was canceled.
