Taylor Lautner considers himself “safe” ahead of ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” re-release, but he’s not so sure about John Mayer.

Nearly two weeks after Swift announced the 2010 album’s “Taylor’s Version” re-recording — which features “Back to December,” a ballad about her months-long 2009 romance with Lautner — the “Twilight” star was asked about the news during a “Today” show appearance.

“I think it’s a great album,” he gushed Tuesday.

“I feel safe,” Lautner, 31, added, joking that he was “praying for John.”

The actor, who is now married to registered nurse Tay Lautner, was seemingly referencing Mayer, who dated Swift between 2009 and 2010.

While “Back to December” is widely considered to be an apology to Lautner, “Dear John” is a scathing single believed to be about Swift’s short-lived romance with Mayer.

In return, the 45-year-old guitarist is speculated to also have written about Swift, 33, with his 2013 track “Paper Doll,” which he admitted 10 years later was a “bitchy” move.

“I try not to give bitchiness in the songs. It happens sometimes,” he said during an April concert. “I don’t really like ‘pissed off’ as a song. I think it was more [about] hurt.”

Fans were quick to slam Mayer at the time for playing “Paper Doll” amid rumors that Swift’s relationship with Joe Alwyn was on the rocks after six years together.

Page Six then confirmed later that month that the former couple had called it quits.

Swift has since been romantically linked to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, with the duo being photographed holding hands at Casa Cipriani in New York City last week.

An eyewitness told Page Six that the pair “sat next to each other at a banquette in the lounge” and were spotted “kissing.”

Healy, 34, previously dated model Gabriella Brooks and singer FKA Twigs.

“Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” comes out on July 7.
