Chrissy Teigen skipped the 2023 Grammys to spend time with her and John Legend’s newborn daughter, Esti.

The model shared a sweet snap with her sleeping baby girl on Sunday in celebration of “grammy day.”

She explained her absence, writing, “had a dress fitting, looked around and realized … what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol.”

The 37-year-old’s husband, however, is at the awards show to perform “God Did.”

Legend, 44, is also nominated for three awards in the Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song categories.

Teigen went on to post a throwback photo from the 2022 awards show, writing that she is “cheering on” her partner.

“One year ago,” she wrote on her Story. “Loved this look so much!! Body lookin a liiittle [sic] different today but worth it.”

The “Chrissy’s Court” star, who is also the mother of daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4, was praised for her decision to hang at home.

“The award is already in your arms ,” commented “Married at First Sight” alum Jamie Otis.

“We don’t have to look far to know our priorities,” another Instagram user added, while a third advised Teigen “enjoy” her “special time” with the 3-week-old.

Teigen gave birth to Esti on Jan. 13, five months after revealing her pregnancy. She and the EGOT winner conceived their little one with the help of in vitro fertilization.

“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect,” the “Bring the Funny” judge wrote in August 2022.

Teigen’s emotional caption referenced the loss of her and Legend’s son Jack 20 weeks into her pregnancy in 2020.

Teigen has since clarified that her miscarriage was a “life-saving abortion.”

With Esti now joining the family, the former “Lip Sync Battle” co-host “couldn’t be happier” and wrote via Instagram last month that Legend “sheds nightly tears of joy.”

As for big siblings Luna and Miles, the duo have been “so full of love” around their infant sister.
