Following a landmark January which saw four Jackpot wins in Massachusetts, New York and Maine, no one matched all five numbers in Friday’s drawing, allowing the prize to once again climb to $31 million with a cash value of $16.6 million for the next drawing. However, while no one took home the jackpot, several other prizes were rewarded after the latest drawing.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday were 1, 4, 50, 54 and 59 with a gold Mega Ball of 17. The Megaplier was 2X.

Watch the winning Mega Millions lottery numbers drawing below.

No one matched all five numbers plus the mega ball, meaning the jackpot now grows to $31 million ahead of Tuesday night’s drawing. No one won the $1 million prize either by matching all five numbers. The largest prize of the night was $20,000, from three winners who matched four numbers and the Mega Ball and purchased the Megaplier.

11 players total won $10,000 by hitting the Match 4 plus the Mega Ball. 63 additional winners walked away with $1,000 for matching four numbers and the Megaplier.

The rest of the wins from the night ranged between $2 and $500. Overall, more than 460,000 winning tickets at all prize levels were sold for the latest drawing.

Even without a winner in the latest drawing, Mega Millions jackpots have been won at a near-record pace thus far in 2023, following a single ticket in Maine winning a $1.348 Billion prize on Jan. 13. A player in New York won $20 million just four days later, while a winner in Massachusetts was declared on Jan. 24. The month ended with a second Massachusetts player winning $31 million on Jan. 31.

Mega Million jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
