Netflix‘s new docuseries Break Point takes sports fans behind-the-scenes of 2022’s professional tennis season. We follow a new class of rising tennis superstars as they struggle through Grand Slams and self-doubt. However, Break Point Season 1 abruptly ends after five episodes. We only get halfway through the 2022 Grand Slam season and are left with a teaser for championships yet to come. So how long do you have to wait until Break Point Part 2 premieres on Netflix?

Break Point was created by the same producing team behind Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive. Like that show, it gives viewers a supposed no-holds barred look at the lives of elite sports stars. While Break Point isn’t exactly a ground-breaking sports doc, it is a mesmerizing reality show about beautiful, tortured tennis players fighting their way to the top. (Or, at least, as close to the top as champions like Rafael Nadal will let them.) The season seems to end right as many of the main narratives are heating up. So what gives?

Netflix has been open about breaking up the 10 episodes of Break Point into two distinct parts. Part 1 covers last year’s Australian Open, Indian Wells, and French Open. Part 2 will likely pick up right with Wimbledon and take us through last fall’s dramatic U.S. Open.

So how long do you have to wait for more Break Point? Here’s everything we know about Break Point Part 2 on Netflix…

Will There be a Break Point Part 2 on Netflix?

Yes! Part 2 of Break Point Season 1 will debut later this year. The last five episodes of the first season of Break Point will follow tennis stars like Nick Kyrgios, Francis Tiafoe, and Ajla Tomljanovic to last year’s Wimbledon and U.S. Open tournaments. Spoilers, but Kyrgios infamously had an altercation with a “drunken” fan at Wimbledon, while Tiafoe and Tomljanovic went on to make headlines at the U.S. Open.

When Will Break Point Part 2 Premiere on Netflix?

As far as we know, Break Point Part 2 is due to premiere in June 2023.

Given that Break Point Part 1 premiered the same weekend that the Australian Open kicked off, we’re guessing Netflix will want to drop Part 2 in tandem with another Grand Slam. Wimbledon officially kicks off in early July, but brackets begin on June 20. So we’re guessing — and this is just conjecture — that Break Point will hit Netflix in late June 2023.

Will There be a Break Point Season 2 on Netflix?

We haven’t yet heard if Netflix will renew Break Point for a second season. If so, it could very well be in production now, following athletes during the 2023 season.

Which Tennis Stars Appear in Break Point on Netflix?

The following tennis stars are featured in Break Point Season 1: Felix Auger-Aliassime
, Paula Badosa
, Matteo Berrettini
, Taylor Fritz
, Ons Jabeur
, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick Kyrgios
, Casper Ruud
, Aryna Sabalenka
, Maria Sakkari
, Sloane Stephens
, Iga Swiatek
, Frances Tiafoe
, Ajla Tomljanovic
, and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Break Point also features additional interviews with Paul Annacone
, Chris Evert, Patrick Mouratoglou
, Toni Nadal
, Martina Navratilova
, Andy Roddick
, Maria Sharapova, among other journalists and tennis-related personalities.
