Authorities in Pennsylvania are frantically searching for a mother who failed to pick up her son from his bus stop last week.
Jennifer Brown, 43, of Limerick Township is a devoted mom who would never abandon her son Noah, family and friends said.
“It’s literally like we’re living in a movie that we watch on TV, it’s so surreal and unbelievable,” family rep Tiffany Barron told WPVI. “Jennifer would never ever just disappear, she would never abandon her son. Noah is the love of her life.”
Brown’s kin became panicked Wednesday afternoon when she failed to pick up Noah from his bus stop, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said in a release.
“Her vehicle was parked outside of her home, and her car keys, wallet, purse and work cell phone were found inside,” according to the district attorney’s office.
Brown’s work cell phone, which has not been located, has been silent since Wednesday morning, authorities said.
“Law enforcement is very concerned about the welfare of this mother,” Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a statement.
Brown is described as having brown hair and green eyes and being 5-foot-1 and about 150 pounds.
Neighbors noted that nothing seemed amiss with the typically dedicated mother before she vanished.
One neighbor, Ellen Friend, said during a vigil held for the missing mother Saturday that she had run into her Tuesday.
“She was driving by. I was in the parking lot talking to another neighbor in the car with my dog,” Friend said, according to Fox 29. “We both waved hello, and I went inside.”
Jennifer’s family is offering a $10,000 reward for information that helps locate her, the district attorney’s office said.
