Meghan Markle slammed her estranged half-sister in Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan” docuseries, accusing Samantha Markle of fabricating their relationship amid her royal fame.
“Suddenly, it felt like she was everywhere,” the “Suits” alum said, explaining she hadn’t seen the 58-year-old “for over a decade” — and even then, for “only a day and a half” — before Samantha began making headlines.
“I don’t know your middle name. I don’t know your birthday,” the former actress, 41, added in the show’s third episode, which dropped Thursday. “You’re telling these people you raised me, and you coined me Princess Pushy?
“I hadn’t had a fallout with her,” Meghan continued. “We didn’t have a closeness to be able to have that. And I wanted a sister!”
The Duchess of Sussex insisted that she doesn’t remember seeing Samantha as a kid while at her dad Thomas Markle’s house, which she and mom Doria Ragland moved out of when Meghan was 2.
“The last time I saw her that I remember was when I was in my early 20s,” the “Deal or No Deal” alum claimed.
A statement subsequently appeared onscreen, however, reading, “Samantha Markle maintains that she and Meghan had a close relationship until 2018 and that the media fabricated quotes that have been attributed to her.”
In a confessional of her own, Samantha’s daughter, Ashleigh Hale, claimed Samantha felt “resentment” toward Meghan as her relationship with Prince Harry progressed, which “seemed to get angrier and bigger.”
She said, “We stopped talking. You know, some people you just can’t reason with.”
Hale was adopted by her paternal grandparents at an early age but had “reconnected” with Samantha in 2007, which led her to form a bond with Meghan via Thomas.
“It started out with these long emails back and forth to each other and then texts and calls,” Hale recalled. “After awhile, I think we were talking on some level several days a week.”
Hale went on to refer to Meghan a “maternal” figure, a “sister” and a “best friend,” and Meghan agreed.
“We both craved the same thing,” the “Archetypes” podcast host said of “hit[ting] it off” with Hale. “I wanted a sister, and she was like a little sister.”
Hale’s mom has taken aim at Meghan many times over the years, from her “tell-all” memoir, “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1,” to her comments accusing her half-sibling of choosing “fortune over family” in 2020 and of having “narcissistic personality disorder” in 2021.
In March of the following year, Samantha sued Meghan over alleged “false and malicious statements” made in her and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Archewell co-creator’s lawyer called the defamation suit “meritless” in June court docs, explaining, “Courts are not equipped to adjudicate the legitimacy of a person’s feelings about their childhood and relationships. Nor should they be.”
The remaining three episodes of Meghan and Harry’s Liz Garbus-directed series air Dec. 15.
