Friday night’s 12/02/2022 Mega Millions jackpot was worth $333 million, with a cash-value option worth $175.8 million.
There was no grand prize winner on Friday, so the jackpot for Tuesday 12/06/22 has increased to $354 million, nor were there any tickets sold that matched 5 white balls and the Mega Ball for the game’s second prize of $1 million.
The game saw 22 winners who matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $10,000, with one of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $30,000. Three hundred twenty people matched four white balls, winning them each $500, with one hundred seven of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $1,500. There were 912 winners who matched three white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $200. Two hundred twenty-four of those ticket holders each won the Megaplier prize of $600.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery, and it is one of America’s two biggest lottery jackpot games. Mega Millions jackpots start at $20 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.
Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.
Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
