Lala Kent is swearing off men — but not motherhood.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed she’ll only use a sperm donor for her next baby, a process she anticipates beginning next year.
“I’m thinking around the summertime I’ll start trying to get pregnant,” Kent, 32, told co-star Scheana Shay in Tuesday’s episode of Dear Media’s “Scheananigans” podcast, explaining that she would opt for intrauterine insemination (IUI) as opposed to in vitro fertilization (IVF).
During IUI, sperm is placed directly inside a woman’s uterus in the hope of creating an embryo. During IVF, an egg is extracted and fertilized in a laboratory to create an embryo that is then returned to a woman’s womb.
“So, because I’m pretty good to go, I could just do the insemination process,” Kent shared.
Though she admitted that a “partner could come into [her] life” at any time, she’s set on using a sperm donor.
“There’s such a high chance of it not working out, especially where we live,” the Los Angeles-based Bravolebrity explained to Shay, 37. “I’m not taking the chance. Like, I am so scarred from all of this s–t that has happened in my life.
“I’m doing a sperm donor, period. I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way. I don’t want another person involved.”
“Randall always lives a double life,” a source alleged to Page Six last October. “He lives the life of a husband or boyfriend, and then he lives the life of a serial partier and then goes on a bender.”
