Ashley Benson revealed this week how her mental health issues can sometimes take a physical toll on her.
“My anxiety takes over my whole body,” the “Pretty Little Liars” alum, 32, wrote over a TikTok video of herself showing off a rash all over her skin on Thursday.
The red spots appeared to be particularly spread out around her neck and shoulders.
Benson filmed herself wearing only a white bath towel for the eight-second clip, while the song “Overwhelmed” by Royal & the Serpent played over it.
The lyrics of the track appropriately state, “I get overwhelmed so easily / my anxiety / creeps inside of me / makes it hard to breathe.”
Benson’s fans flooded the comments section, applauding her for sharing her struggles.
“this is real. makes me feel less alone,” one person wrote, while another commented, “This happens to me as well when I get anxiety. I’m glad I’m not alone.”
Benson didn’t reveal what was causing her anxiety at the time, but hinted the next day that she was still experiencing the disorder in a separate video posted on Instagram.
“Who else struggles w bad anxiety and panic attacks???” the “Spring Breakers” star captioned a clip of herself taking a sip of a drink on Friday.
The song “Overwhelmed” — once again — was played over the video.
Benson has been candid with the public about her issues with mental health in the past.
In February 2015, the “Ravenswood” alum told The Post she undergoes acupuncture in order to help her manage stress.
“I do it on my back and private parts,” Benson said at the time. “It relieves anxiety.”
