When Cardi B said “gobble me” she wasn’t talking about Thanksgiving dinner.
The “WAP” rapper narrowly avoided a major wardrobe malfunction at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
“Notice my dress is super see-through before family start arriving ….GOD IS GOOD !” Cardi B, 30, quipped on Twitter.
Rather than ditching the dress, Cardi made an adjustment, adding a black bra underneath that guaranteed she wouldn’t have a slip-up at the table.
In the videos posted to her Instagram Story, she pairs the black and white Chanel dress with neon yellow nails, long curls and natural makeup.
Cardi isn’t shy about showing off her famous curves, whether wearing a red burlesque inspired bustier for her birthday or a skintight black catsuit for an anniversary dinner.
The “I Like It” hitmaker may have been celebrating November’s big holiday, but she also took a look back at October, sharing a series of never-before-seen Halloween photos of husband Offset and their two children.
While Offset played the Joker and their two kids, Kulture, 4, and Wave, 1, dressed up as Harley Quinn and the Riddler, Cardi rounded out the family look as a blinged-out Batman.
“Grateful for my family. Thank you, Lord, for changing my life around,” Cardi captioned the picture where her family posed as the characters.
Cardi and Offset were left reeling after the death of Takeoff, the latter’s cousin and a fellow member of his Migos rap group, who was shot in Houston earlier this month.
A few days after Takeoff’s star-studded funeral, Offset took to social media to say that his “heart is shattered” and the pain is “unbearable.”
“I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare,” he said.
Cardi also wrote a lengthy tribute to Takeoff, writing in part, “I pray that you are at peace and in paradise because you deserve every bit of it. I know God opened the heavenly gates for you with a warm embrace. Rest in power TakeOff.”
