Don’t let her be the last to know.

Sam Asghari went live on Instagram while in bed with Britney Spears on Wednesday night, catching the pop star off guard.

“Can I show you or no?” the actor asked his wife while sitting in the dark.

“Huh? Show me what?” a confused Spears, 40, responded off-camera.

“On the Live,” Asghari, 28, clarified.

“What are you talking about?” the “Hold Me Closer” singer replied.

“Can I turn the camera on you?” the former personal trainer wondered.

After realizing that Asghari was livestreaming, Spears asserted out loud, “I’m always live!”

“I have nothing to say. I don’t want to talk to them right now,” she added, referencing the nearly 3,000 people who tuned in.

“All right, sounds good,” Asghari conceded before ending the Live.

The brief yet bizarre stream divided Spears’ fans after screen-recorded clips began making the rounds on social media.

“Can you imagine your husband going live and asking you to show your face when you aren’t in the mood?! I would punc* my husband’s face,” one person wrote in Spears fan account BreatheHeavy‘s comments section.

“Erm yeah I don’t really like that he’s done this. What was he thinking?” another commented.

“I think he shouldn’t have surprised her. He should have asked her before he went live,” a third fan agreed.

Others, however, rushed to both Spears and Asghari’s defense.

“he respected her wishes when she said no,” one viewer pointed out.

“If the Queen doesn’t wanna speak to anyone…including us sadly lol She doesn’t have to. She’s allowed to have her own privacy,” another commented.

“This is such a regular, common couple chat,” one more argued.

Spears married Asghari in June after getting engaged in September 2021. The couple met in October 2016 on the set of the Grammy winner’s “Slumber Party” music video.

A source previously told Page Six exclusively that the fitness model was “a huge support” for Spears throughout her battle to end her 13-year conservatorship.

“He helps boost her confidence and assures her that everything will go well,” the insider shared, adding that Asghari “always tells [Spears] how much she’s loved and supported by fans.”

The “Crossroads” star was freed from her estranged father Jamie Spears’ control that November.
