Megan Thee Stallion is fuming over a controversial lyric in Drake’s new song “Circo Loco” that appears to cast doubt on her shooting incident with Tory Lanez.
“Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass N—as!” the “Savage” rapper tweeted early Friday without naming the “In My Feelings” performer.
“Since when tf is it cool to joke abt [sic] women getting shot ! You n—as especially RAP N—AS ARE LAME!”
Megan, 27, added, “Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”
Drake, 36, raps in the track on his and 21 Savage’s new “Her Loss” album, “This bitch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion.”
The “God’s Plan” rapper has not confirmed whether the lyric is indeed about Megan, and his rep declined to comment.
In the meantime, fans have begun to debate online what Drake really meant in the song.
One person argued, “Idk where ppl got these lyrics from, I went right over to Genius and the bar was ‘SHOTS.’ Plural. wordplay being ‘This bitch lie bout getting shots (butt shots) but she still a stallion (she still tall n thick regardless) n he talk bout college girls in many songs…reaching fr.”
However, another wrote in response, “It’s called a double entendre. He was being shady.”
The back-and-forth did not appear to change Megan’s mind, as she added on Twitter, “And when the mf facts come out remember all y’all hoe ass favorite rappers that stood behind a N—a that SHOT A FEMALE.”
She then concluded, “People attack me y’all go up for it , i defend myself now I’m doing too much … every time it never ends and this did NOT happen until I came out and said I got shot … y’all don’t fwm [f–k with me] okay cool f–k it bye.”
Alex Spiro, one of the attorneys representing Megan in her case against Lanez, 30, tells Page Six, “Despite the irrefutable evidence that Megan was a victim of gun violence, the ignorant continue to support her attacker.”
Lanez has not addressed Drake’s song either — likely because a judge ruled in February 2021 that he is not allowed to speak publicly on the pending case.
Perhaps the “LUV” singer and “Hold On, We’re Going Home” rapper have spoken behind closed doors, though, as the two Canadian artists have a long history together.
Drake and Lanez reportedly had a brief beef in 2016 in which they subtly called each other out in their music and interviews, but they appeared to squash that by March 2017 when they posted a photo of them hanging out together.
Since they both hail from Toronto, the “One Dance” rapper captioned the now-deleted post, “The city needs more of this and less of that.” The same picture is still featured on the “Say It” singer’s Instagram.

Lanez was charged in October 2020 with multiple counts, including felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, after he allegedly shot Megan in the foot following a night out together in July 2020.
Page Six previously obtained medical records that showed bullet fragments penetrated the “Thot S–t” rapper’s feet, but Lanez has still denied the claims.
A trial for the case is set to begin in late November.
