Selena Gomez breaks down in tears in the first trailer for her upcoming documentary, “Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me,” sharing a glimpse into her life and continuous health issues.

“My whole life, since I was a kid, I’ve been working,” the “Lose You to Love Me” singer, 30, tearfully explains. “And I don’t want to be, like, super famous. But I do know that if I’m here, that I have to use that for good.”

Gomez has been open with fans about her battle with many health issues throughout the years, including her 2014 lupus diagnosis and struggles with anxiety and depression.

She also sought treatment in 2018 and revealed in 2020 that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

“Just be who you are, Selena,” the “Only Murders in the Building” actress and producer tells herself in the trailer’s opening. “No one cares about what you’re doing. It’s about who I am. Being OK with where I am. I am grateful to be alive.”

Gomez’s longtime friend Raquelle Stevens also appears in the teaser, opening up about her experience supporting the pop star throughout her many personal battles.

“If anybody saw what I saw, they wouldn’t have recognized her,” Stevens shares.

The documentary spans six years of the Rare Beauty founder’s life, giving viewers an inside look at both her philanthropy and intensive treatments to fight her various illnesses.

“Everything that I have gone through, it’s gonna to be there. I’m just making it my friend now,” the “Same Old Love” singer narrates. “I am happier, and I’m in control of my emotions and thoughts more than I have ever been.”

“Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me” premieres Nov. 4 on Apple TV+.
