Controversial influencer Andrew Tate may have been banned from social media, but he’s continuing to get his message out there in TV appearances.
His latest interview with Piers Morgan on British TV channel Talk TV sees a tense exchange between interviewer and guest. Morgan himself is known for his outspoken views, but he admits during the interview that even he finds Tate’s opinions “misogynistic and offensive.”
Tate’s full interview with Morgan on Piers Morgan Uncensored will air on British TV on Friday night, but ahead of that, the host shared a two-minute clip on social media to preview their exchange.
Morgan starts off by asking Tate if all young men should aspire to be like him.
“Should young men aspire to work very hard, have no criminal record, become multimillionaires, protect and provide for the women close to them? Be sovereign so they can stand up and have their own points of view in the face of cancellation? Be able to not be mentally intimidated when they go on national TV and there’s traps set up for them? Yeah, I believe that confident strong men who stand up and protect and provide for women are a good thing for the world and a good force for the world,” Tate replied, without missing a beat.
He continues by explaining the benefits of being like him, and highlights Lil Nas X “twerking on the devil” as an example of things that are wrong with the world today.
Eventually Morgan interjects and tells Tate his honest opinions on some of his past statements.
Continuing a point, Tate said, “now because I sit here and you say it offended you, I understand.”
“I didn’t say it offended me,” Morgan said. “I just read you things.”
“You read things that could be offensive and some people were offended?” Tate said.
“Some people definitely were offended,” Morgan said.
“Absolutely. That’s fine,” Tate replied.
“And honestly? I think some of the things you said were genuinely offensive and misogynistic,” Morgan said.
“Okay so they offended you. Which is fine,” said Tate, before he continued with a point about the current state of society.
Tate has often been accused of having sexist and misogynistic views, which appears to be a core talking point between him and Morgan. However, he finishes the clip by suggesting that there are thousands of women who agree with his controversial opinions.
“The number of women who have stood up and stuck up for me is ignored. Thousands of women are making videos saying ‘I’ve met Andrew Tate, he’s such a nice guy.’ ‘I wish I had a man like Andrew Tate who felt responsible to protect and provide for me.’ ‘You know what, I do belong to my husband. That’s why I married him and I love him.’ We ignore the thousands of women who stood up and stood by me and said everything I said is true,” Tate told Morgan.
Other subjects the pair talk about include Tate’s claim that “depression isn’t real” and the fear of being canceled.
Recently Tate’s Instagram and Facebook profiles were deleted. Meta confirmed with Newsweek that Tate was no longer allowed to use both social media platforms as a result of violating company policies.
During an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News in September, Tate said he’d been canceled from the social media sites because he was living a “traditionally masculine life.”
