Indian food is hot, it seems.
Priyanka Chopra’s Sona restaurant in New York’s Flatiron District brought out some heavy hitters for dinner on Monday night.
Hillary and former President Bill Clinton were spotted dining with pals. Boxing legend Mike Tyson brought a crew out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. And Chopra’s brother-in-law, Joe Jonas was there on a dinner date with wife Sophie Turner.
“People watching [on Monday] was on 100! They were dining there separately. It was bizarre,” a googly-eyed diner told Page Six.
Other fellow guests weren’t shy about asking the Clintons, in particular, for photos. A restaurant insider told us the former first couple happily obliged photo requests from fellow patrons.
“Hillary and Bill had a fun evening, laughing with friends,” they told us.
The Clintons, upon arrival, also “said hi to Sophie and Joe, who were enjoying a date night,” the insider shared.
Chopra’s hip Indian eatery has been a go to for celebs and politicians since she opened it with longtime pal Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin during the pandemic in 2021.
Just last week, she hosted husband Nick Jonas, Huma Abedin, Laura Brown, Prabal Gurung, and Vanity Fair editor Radhika Jones for a dinner to celebrate fall and the launch of her SONA home collection inspired by decor and pieces from the restaurant.
