Charli DâAmelio is already leaning on Landon Barker for support in the ballroom.
The TikTok star â who is competing on Season 31 of âDancing With the Starsâ â explained how âexcitedâ her boyfriend is to cheer her on in the competition, along with his dad, Travis Barker, and step-mom, Kourtney Kardashian.
âLandon knows that Iâm doing this. Heâs with me every step of the way throughout this journey. Travis and Kourtney, I told them about it, and they were super excited as well,â DâAmelio, 18, told Page Six following the cast reveal on âGood Morning America.â
âI think, overall, itâs just going to be really fun and I have a very great group around me.â
DâAmelio added that Landon, also 18, is âawesomeâ at hyping her up.
âIâm glad heâs gonna be there supporting me,â she gushed of the âDie in Californiaâ singer, who sheâs been dating since June.
âHeâs excited for me. Heâs always super sweet and excited whenever Iâm excited about something.â
While Travis, 46, and Kourtney, 43, have never competed on the show themselves, their famous family is no stranger to âDWTS.â
Kim Kardashian competed with DâAmelioâs pro partner, Mark Ballas, during Season 7 of the dance competition show, while Rob Kardashian was paired with Cheryl Burke for Season 13. DâAmelio said she has yet to ask either of them for advice.
Safe to say, DâAmelio â who was a competitive dancer for over 10 years â certainly wonât have any trouble racking up public votes.
In addition to having support from the Barkers and the Kardashian-Jenner family, she has the most Instagram followers of all the competitors with 49.1 million and growing.

Plus, DâAmelio previously worked with judge Derek Hough for a âDirty Dancingâ tribute during the âStep Into⦠the Moviesâ special in March.
Hough also stated in a July 2021 interview that he thought DâAmelio âwould crush itâ in the ballroom.
âI was very lucky to be able to work with Derek for three short days and we were able to make something amazing. And I actually got to see him and [his sister] Julianne on their tour when I was, like, 11, so Iâve been a huge fan of him for a very long time,â DâAmelio told us Thursday.
âI actually knew [about doing âDWTSâ] when we did that [special] and I got to tell him. So I donât know if he pulled any strings but Iâm glad that I got that little Derek crash course because I think it will help me with this competition.â
The TikTok star will be competing against her mom, Heidi DâAmelio, and stars like Selma Blair, Teresa Giudice, Vinny Guadagnino and Jordin Sparks when the all-new season kicks off Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PTÂ on Disney+.
