Timothée Chalamet looks ravishing in red.

The “Call Me By Your Name” actor was the talk of the red carpet at Friday’s “Bones and All” premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2022, where he showed up wearing a custom Haider Ackermann outfit comprised of fitted crimson trousers and a matching backless halter top tied artfully at the neck.

Social media had a field day with Chalamet’s latest fashion moment, with one fan tweeting, “Please take a moment to pause and appreciate what Timothee Chalamet does for the people. Damn. He’s been missed on a carpet.”

Gushed another of the 26-year-old’s daring designer duds, “timothée chalamet woke up and decided to end us all.”

Other fans hailed the “sluttification” of the “Dune” star’s style, which often pushes fashion boundaries — bedazzled harness and Met Gala sweatpants, anyone? — but has evolved into something more skin-baring as of late.

“Timothee SLUTAMET ate everyone up,” one devotee quipped.

On the even sillier end of the spectrum, Chalamet’s back-baring ‘fit earned more than a few comparisons to Mr. Tumnus, James McAvoy’s shirtless, scarf-wearing faun character from the 2005 film adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.”

The “Lady Bird” favorite is one of a growing number of Hollywood actors embracing gender-fluid dressing; Harry Styles, Billy Porter, Lil Nas X and A$AP Rocky are among the famous men who’ve proudly rocked skirts, dresses and other traditionally feminine fashion fare.

Chalamet’s custom look for the Italian film fest appears to be somewhat based on Haider Ackermann’s spring 2018 collection, which was modeled entirely by women.

“I like that he breaks certain stereotypes and creates his own style,” yet another fan enthused.
