The “Rockstar” rapper, 26, announced the major life milestones on “The Howard Stern Show” Monday while promoting his upcoming Twelve Carat Tour.
“[At] 2:30 in the afternoon, I went and I kissed my baby girl,” Post said on the SiriusXM show before Howard Stern interrupted, “What baby girl? Are you referring to your girlfriend or you have a baby?”
“No, that’s my daughter,” the “Circles” singer replied.
Stern, 68, pointed out that Post had kept the information “quiet,” to which he responded in jest, “Yeah, I want to let her make her own decisions.”
The veteran radio host then asked the “Wow” singer whether he should refer to his daughter’s mom as his girlfriend or wife, so Post clarified, “She’s my fiancée.”
The Grammy nominee first revealed he had a baby on the way in May.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad,” he told TMZ at the time.
“Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
Post then shared earlier this month that he was “pumped beyond belief” for fatherhood and ready to become a “hot dad.”
The chart-topper has not disclosed the identity of his child’s mother and has led a more private life since moving from Los Angeles to Utah in 2019.
“People wanted me to stay in LA — that’s where the work gets done — but I was fed up,” he told Billboard in January. “There’s always something to do, and someone always wants something from ya — and I didn’t want to go crazy.”
