Josh Duggar will be far from a free man after he finishes serving his 12-and-a-half-year prison sentence for child pornography charges.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the former TLC reality star will be on a very strict probation period for the 20 years following his release, which includes rules for watching porn, using the internet and even spending time with his own children.
Duggar will reportedly be forbidden from accessing or viewing porn of any kind, including adult porn.
Additionally, TMZ reports he will be banned from using the internet without first getting the permission of his probation officer.
The paperwork also reportedly states that Duggar cannot have any unsupervised contact with minors, including his own seven kids — daughter Mackynzie, 12, son Michael, 10, son Marcus, 8, daughter Meredith, 6, son Mason, 4, daughter Maryella, 3, and daughter Madyson, 6 months — whom he shares with his wife, Anna Duggar, 33.
The only way Josh will be allowed to see his children, reports the outlet, is if the visit is supervised by Anna, his parents — Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar — or another court-approved adult.
The outlet notes the registered sex offender will have to adhere to several other additional mandates, including attending sex therapy and submitting to lie detector tests whenever asked.
Josh was found guilty of receiving and possessing child sex abuse photos and videos in December 2021 following a six-day trial in his home state of Arkansas.
Though the possession charge was dropped at his May 25 sentencing — where he received 151 months and not the 20-year maximum he faced — Josh’s legal team still plans to appeal.
