He just wanted to take another look at her.
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga reunited Sunday night at the 2022 SAG Awards, where they’re both nominated.
Photos of the “A Star Is Born” co-stars show Cooper smiling from ear-to-ear as he approaches Gaga in the audience for a touching moment.
The former colleagues made fans’ hearts swoon over their chemistry in the 2018 film and subsequent press tour, during which many were convinced they were more than just friends.
Gaga, 35, and Cooper, 47, put on such an emotional duet of their song “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars that the “Bad Romance” songstress had to shut down dating rumors.
“First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet,” Gaga, who was then newly single after her breakup from fiancé Christian Carino, said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” at the time. “What it has done to pop culture is abysmal. And yes, people saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see.”
The show-stopping and steamy performance turned up chatter online, especially since Cooper’s then-girlfriend, Irina Shayk, sat in the audience.
“This is a love song, ‘Shallow,’ the movie, ‘A Star Is Born, is a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance,” Gaga said, adding that Cooper was the mastermind behind the scenes.
“Everything you saw, the way that they pushed the piano out, you saw them put the piano together, and us walk up on stage, no intro, that was all him,” Gaga said of Cooper.
Gaga is nominated at this year’s SAG Awards in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role category for “House of Gucci.” Cooper was nominated for his role in “Licorice Pizza” but lost to “CODA” star Troy Kotsur.
