Sandra Lee professed her love for fiancé Ben Youcef on Valentine’s Day, sharing that she “never” thought she would find love again after her breakup with former Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
“So this happened! Ben happened! Love happened! Happiness happened!” the TV chef, 55, wrote in a gushy post to Instagram Monday. “I was certain it never would again. I was shocked when it did.”
She added, “I swore I would never fall again, trust again, love again or open myself up again.”
After teasing that she still isn’t ready to share how she and Youcef, 42, met, Lee urged her followers to never give up on finding their own happiness.
“On our one year anniversary I shall share the story of how we met but until then, my wish for you is that no matter where you are, how old you are or what has happened, you can welcome hope back into your life again,” she wrote. “This Valentines I wish you all an abundance of love, laughter, butterflies, long walks, intimate talks, chills, tender kisses, sweet moments and pure joy in the world.”
She concluded, “Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you— and to My Sweet Ben, thank you for making my heart feel whole again, alive again, and in love again. Xo Sandy.”
Lee included a slideshow of photos with Youcef in the post, including several of the couple locking lips.
The Post exclusively reported in August 2021 that the Food Network personality and Youcef had gotten engaged, just days after her ex Cuomo, 64, announced his resignation as governor of New York following a series of scandals including sexual misconduct allegations.
Lee and the politician were together for 14 years before splitting in September 2019. He had allegedly been unfaithful during their relationship, with former staffers telling The Post in April 2021 that his cheating was an “open secret.” Cuomo called the claims “false.”
