Netflix is going to hit all the colors in the rainbow before they’re done with the Red Notice crew. The streamer is planning on not one but two sequels to the hit action-adventure film, ready for a back-to-back shoot with leads Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Gal Gadot, Deadline reports. They haven’t officially signed on quite yet, but Netflix plans on getting all three aboard sometime soon.

This all depends, of course, on the schedules of Red Notice‘s busy stars. They’ll have to resign deals to secure roles in Netflix’s sequels to their biggest movie of all time, but why shouldn’t they? Big paydays made the film one of the most expensive movies in Netflix history. Marshall Thurber’s global heist film even earned him an 8-figure pay check, and reportedly, he’s already begun writing the upcoming films.

Netflix has yet to confirm the news, but the plan is still to reunite the star trio. Reminiscent of the glamorous Oceans Eleven franchise, the future of Red Notice would revolve around an alluring heist film ensemble with more crime and chaos in each new installation.

Red Notice was sold in one of the biggest pitch package deals of 2018, with Universal and Legendary winning a big auction for the project. Thurber and Johnson were the only attachments at the time, with everyone already working on the blockbuster Skyscraper. Netflix was the runner up, eventually stepping in when Universal refused a budget that would run them over $200 million.

And the project was a big win for Netflix, becoming the streamer’s biggest movie of all time. Red Notice celebrated a whopping 364,020,000 hours viewed notched in its first 28 days. Currently, Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up is the only film coming close to taking its title, thanks to its heavy push in awards season this year..

Beau Flynn will return to produce via his Flynn Pictures Co banner, alongside Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia via Seven Bucks Productions. Thurber is also producing through his Bad Version Productions and Flynn Picture Co’s Scott Sheldon will be exec producer.
