Sometimes watching Bridgerton just hits different when you add a little personal touch to the experience. At this point, Netflix has tailored our profiles to a T — there are picks just for a us based on what we’ve been binging, and we can even like or dislike a show or film. But there’s another way to tweak your Netflix account and make it even more uniquely yours. We’re talking about a custom Netflix profile picture.

And we don’t just mean switching up your Netflix icon to Ariana Grande or Missy from Big Mouth. No, you can add a custom photo to your Netflix profile that’s not available in the streamer’s icon library. Just how do you create a custom Netflix profile picture? We’re here to help.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY NETFLIX PROFILE PICTURE?

It’s pretty simple. First step, go to your Netflix account in a web browser of your choice. Once you’re all signed in, head to the upper right corner of the screen, where you’ll see your Netflix icon. Select “Manage Profiles,” then click on the pencil over your icon, which will bring you to the “Edit Profile” section. If you’ve already updated your Netflix icon before, you’ll be familiar with this page. It’s where you can select the pencil icon again and choose from a bunch of images courtesy of Netflix, from wild animals to the cast of your favorite show.

HOW DO I CREATE A CUSTOM NETFLIX PROFILE PICTURE?

While it’s easy to change your picture on Netflix, it’s a little trickier to add in a custom photo, but here’s how, per Distractify. You’ve got two choices to create a custom photo on Netflix. If you previously connected your Facebook account with Netflix, your current Facebook profile picture will show up as your Netflix icon. Otherwise, you’ll have to go through a Google Chrome extension called Custom Profile Picture for Netflix.

This extension allows Netflix users to change their Netflix icon to whatever they like. Just download the extension from the Chrome webstore and install in on your browser. Then, return to the “Manage Profiles” page on Netflix and open Custom Profile Picture for Netflix, which will give you the option to update all of the profiles on your Netflix account with new photos. You just need the image of your choosing to be saved to your computer before so that you can upload it when you open the extension.

Just a few quick notes before you change your Netflix icon to literally anything at all: make sure your photo is a .jpeg under 5MB and will fit in the shape of a square. Now that you know how to add another personal touch to your account, go ahead and make your Netflix profile picture dreams come true!
