Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker are the latest celebrity couple to show their love with coordinating face masks.
The “Mandalorian” actress, 41, and the New Jersey senator, 51, attended President Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday wearing matching blue hand-batiked masks ($20) from Studio 189, Dawson’s sustainable fashion brand.
Studio 189’s wares are made in Africa by local artisans, and incorporate traditional craftsmanship techniques including indigo dyeing, kente weaving, embroidery and more. Based in both New York and Ghana, the company also supports skills training and education for its artisans.
Dawson wasn’t the only boldfaced name to support black fashion talent on Inauguration Day. Vice President Kamala Harris was sworn in wearing a vibrant purple coat and dress by Christopher John Rogers, while former FLOTUS Michelle Obama stunned in plum Sergio Hudson.
Dawson confirmed her relationship with Booker in March 2019 — two months after Page Six exclusively revealed they were dating — and said she was moving to Newark to live with her politician beau in June 2020.
