For once in Bachelor Nation history, the path this season of The Bachelorette will take is difficult to predict. ABC has been playing into rumors about the season, a second Bachelorette and more, without formally explaining what the heck is happening, or when viewers can expect to see big changes.
All we can go on are predictions, and it seems like Tayshia Adams will be stepping in as the new Bachelorette pretty soon.
Clare Crawley kicked off her search for love last Tuesday, October 13, and her journey continues Tuesday night. Spoilers say Crawley has two rose ceremonies left before she’ll decide to ditch the show altogether and pursue a relationship with her immediate frontrunner, Dale Moss.
How that will happen, and what the dramatics will really look like, isn’t known. But we know, from Reality Steve spoilers, that Crawley is going to dump seven more men before she formally steps out of the position.
Looking at a typical Bachelorette schedule, it seems with seven men leaving, apparently in two rose ceremonies, Crawley has about two episodes left before the anticipated switch to Adams takes place.
Tuesday night trailers show the men beginning to question Crawley’s behavior, as she’s set her sights on Moss. At the same time, Crawley questions the men, who apparently keep their distance. Tensions seem high, but nothing like the eventual explosion between the men and Crawley as her suitors threaten to walk out of the show. This moment has yet to be explored past previews played in the premiere episode of Season 16.
Despite the common knowledge that a new Bachelorette will take over, ABC has yet to address Adams’ entrance, or even name her as the upcoming Bachelorette.
Reality Steve revealed Adams will meet the men who Crawley didn’t send home. All 14 people that Crawley removed from her season before her decision to walk out will remain eliminated. A few additional men were brought in to meet Adams, apparently, which should give her somewhere around 20 men to meet when she finally gets to hand out the roses.
How Adams’ season ends is still unclear. There aren’t spoilers about her final two, possible engagement or anything of the sorts. For Crawley, though, there’s plenty of information about her decision to leave with Moss, and if it actually worked out for her. You can read about it here.
