Chrissy Teigen is at a breaking point and “worried for her family” because she has been the subject of bizarre conspiracy theories linking her to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The 34-year-old model exploded Tuesday when a user pointed out that she had deleted “over 28,000 tweets yesterday,” and also falsely claimed she was on Epstein’s flight logs going to his island, Little St. James, which has been nicknamed “pedophile island,” “island of sin.”
“I actually deleted 60,000 tweets because I cannot f..king STAND you idiots anymore and I’m worried for my family,” Teigen snapped. “Finding me talking about toddlers and tiaras in 2013 and thinking you’re some sort of f–king operative.”
“F–king detectives that can’t even do simple subtraction to see how much was deleted. That’s who we are working with here,” she added in a later tweet calling the conspiracy theorists, “losers.”
When another person commented that she seemed “defensive,” the mother of two answered, “this I don’t get. everyone thinking I’m guilty because I’m defensive. You understand you are calling me a pedophile, correct?”
Epstein died of an apparent suicide in 2019 while awaiting federal charges for sex trafficking of minors. His private fleet of planes were nicknamed the “Lolita Express,” in reference to the Vladimir Nabokov novel about a middle-aged professor’s relationship with a 12-year-old girl.
Teigen’s name was never included in the flight manifests. Many of the flights occurred when Teigen would have been a teenager herself.
Teigen also tweeted about Epstein’s former gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell’s recent arrest and her doubts as to whether that would quell the unfounded rumors swirling around her supposed link to Epstein.
“when pedo ghislaine sings like a canary (if she doesn’t die) and we have nothing to do eith (sic) this, I know for a fact it won’t go away. They’ll just think of another excuse. It is extremely disheartening. I don’t know how to stop this. i don’t think anyone quite gets it,” she wrote.
