After releasing a charity capsule in an effort to help fight systemic racism, injustice and police brutality, SAINTWOODS returns with its SW.009 ready-to-wear collection. The 21-piece collection of cut-and-sew pieces and accessories continues to reference nostalgic memories and draws inspiration from the founder’s hometowns of Montreal and Toronto, Canada. Shot by Scott Pilgrim, the lookbook features close friends and family members the two founders are currently isolating with.
Kicking off the latest range are the “Racing Jersey” and “Reaper Hockey Jersey,” both of which give the classic athletic silhouette a playful twist. Other styles feature tongue-and-cheek graphics, like the “Susame” tee and hoodie, “Tourist” T-shirt, “Matter of Survival” hoodie and “Hand-Dyed Medallion” long sleeve shirt. Other items in the collection include the brand’s signature logo tees and hoodies, faux-Angora fur bucket hat, specially branded reusable water bottle and embroidered caps.
SAINTWOODS’ charity capsule, which launched earlier this month, raised over $10,000 USD in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The SW.009 ready-to-wear collection will be available to purchase on SAINTWOODS’ website beginning July 1.
