CINCINNATI — On its pregame show Sunday afternoon, FOX released partial footage of the video incident that sparked the latest Patriots controversy.
As obtained by NFL insider Jay Glazer, the footage shows a close-up of a camera filming the Bengals’ sideline that two Patriots videographers allegedly used from the press box last weekend during Cincinnati’s loss at Cleveland. The 45-second clip also contains a conversation between the videographers and a member of the Bengals’ security staff, who confronted them.
On Monday, the Pats admitted a team-hired production crew was sent to Cleveland to film the latest installment of their online series, Do Your Job, which provides behind-the-scenes looks at various departments in the organization; most recently, advance scouting. The crew was confronted by Cincinnati security and later forced to turn over its footage to the NFL because filming the field and the Bengals’ sideline violated the NFL’s game-day procedures policy.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick has consistently denied the team’s football operations was in any way involved or aware of the crew’s activities. The NFL is currently investigating the matter.
Below is a transcript of the interaction found in the video FOX obtained.

Bengals security: That’s why you were thinking you could take that?
Patriots videographer 1: I didn’t know.
BS: How did you not know?
PV 1: I didn’t know, I’m sorry. But I can delete this right here for you.
BS: (laughs) The damage is done, my friend.
PV 1: No, it isn’t. Because we can delete it..
Patriots videographer 2: Once it gets deleted by us, it’s gone.
PV 1: Once it’s gone, it’s gone. I can’t get that footage back. There’s no way I can get that footage back. I’m being honest with you. And I don’t have a computer to, like, even put it anywhere. Once this cards, that’s it.
BS: Yeah, I don’t see the advanced scout in any of this video they’re shooting.
The Patriots and Bengals play Sunday in Cincinnati.
