Although Justin Timberlake publicly apologized last week to wife Jessica Biel and his family for holding hands with a co-star, he didn’t look very happy in a new set of photographs taken of him in New Orleans.
Timberlake, 38, was photographed Wednesday in the city, where he’s filming the movie “Palmer,” looking downcast as he hung out on a balcony.
The singer issued the classic Notes-app apology last week, days after the release of the headline-making photos of him holding hands with “Palmer” co-star Alicia Wainwright.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement [sic] — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar,” he wrote. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
After the photos emerged, a source close to Timberlake’s camp denied any illicit behavior.
“He was on an open balcony. They were among friends. It was nothing,” the insider shared. “There is 100 percent nothing going on.”
