After releasing an UltraBOOST centered around first place-esque bright metallic gold detailing, adidas has now presented its second podium-worthy take on the popular running-turned-lifestyle silhouette: a new “Silver Metallic” colorway. Calling upon a similar dark base/bold chrome accent mixture as its gilded counterpart, the “Silver Metallic” provides a bold style with plenty of flair.
The upper uses two different types of dark grey mesh for its base, opting for a breathable, loose-knit style on the heel and collar combined with a more tightly woven variation on the toebox. This is then contrasted by a sleek jet black mudguard. The silver accents that the shoe draws its nom de guerre from arrive on the plastic heel clip, the translucent midfoot Three Stripe cage, and around the aforementioned mudguard as a border. Down below, a black BOOST midsole and black Continental rubber outsole finalize the look.
This shimmering new version of the UltraBOOST is available now on adidas.com and at select adidas stockists. The retail price is set at $180 USD.
